F4 Windsurf Freeride Foil
Our Windsurf Freeride Foil Kit comeS with the 2022 F4 Carbon Race 97 HM Carbon Tuttle Mast Demo. This mast was used once. The kit comes with and full set of screws necessary for assembly.
We had such a great time in Hood River with our friends from Sailworks, that we decided to make a new windsurf freeride design that focused on – early liftoff, wave riding/ gliding, with good upwind capabilities. We needed a wing that was easier and more fun to ride, different from our ultra stable race platform for pure course and slalom speed.
All new Freeride wings – the 70, 80 and 90 are designed around profiles that enable excellent low end and gliding and combined with a medium/ high aspect planform for turning and carving. This creates the ultimate windsurf freeride foil, delivering better low end and turning yet keeping the pitch stability we have in the current race setup. Larger midsection, smaller tip – to get the efficiency and lift from these wings we made the lift distribution larger in the center with less lift at the tips. This makes the wings lifty and loose, exactly what you want for carving. Big chop, waves, even flat water, these wings excel at all around freeride performance.
Lift off and low end is amazing for all 3 wing sizes, larger sizes are optimized for light wind and smaller sizes enabling faster carving turns and still lifty at the low end… the 3 wings in combination create the perfect quiver.
