Introducing the Future Fly Dark Horse 5 2026
The future is faster, lighter, and stronger. The new generation of Future Fly Dark Horses is based on years of World Cup experience and extensive on-water testing. The 2026 series sets new standards in construction, combining innovative technology with new shapes and designs to deliver the fastest boards we've ever made.
NEW HIGHLIGHTS
+ARB system for sizes 116 and 136, improving acceleration, control, and peak performance in challenging conditions. A completely new shape concept for sizes 116 and 136 and a refined cut-out system for size 96, taking the entire series to a new level. -400g (±3%) thanks to new carbon layering, while simultaneously increasing stiffness, durability, and responsiveness.

+ARB SYSTEM
The Air Release Booster System consists of two complementary components: Air Release Channels and Air Release Tunnels. Air Release Channels act like extended cutouts in the middle, providing an additional outlet at the tail. They allow excess air to escape from under the board, reducing pressure and improving release. Air Release Tunnels channel air from the deck into the channels, where it mixes with the water under the board. This creates a hovering effect. On the water, the ride feels smoother, acceleration is effortless, overpowered situations are easier to handle, and overall acceleration is improved. During jibes, the tunnels provide more grip and stability, allowing for tighter, more controlled turns with a safe, predictable feel
NEW CARBON MADNESS CONSTRUCTION
Through careful analysis and optimization of the carbon fiber layering, strength and stiffness were increased while significantly reducing weight. Additional carbon was used in key areas of the board, reducing the need for fiberglass and making the board lighter, more durable, and more responsive on the water. Weight reduction of 400 grams (+/- 3%).
+ARB SYSTEM

The Air Release Booster has two complementary components: Air-Release-Channels and
Air-Release-Tunnels.
Air-Release-Channels act like extended center cut-outs, providing an extra exit at the tail. They release excess air under the board, reduce pressure, improve release, and help prevent stalling.
Air-Release-Tunnels feed air from the deck into the Channels, which then mixes with the water below the board. This results in a hovering effect.
On the water, chop feels smoother, acceleration is effortless, overpowered situations are
easier to handle, and acceleration improves. During jibes, the tunnels add grip and
stability, allowing tighter, controlled turns with a safe, predictable feel.
NEW CARBON MADNESS CONSTRUCTION
The windsurf industry’s benchmark construction has been further improved. By carefully
analyzing and optimizing the carbon fiber layup, strength and stiffness have been
increased while weight has been significantly reduced. Additional carbon has been placed
in key areas of the board, allowing for less fiberglass usage and resulting in a lighter, more
durable, and more responsive feel on the water.
