The new 2026 S2Maui BANSHEE ULTRA is the premium ultra-lightweight Dyneemaversion of our popular, race derived high performance RAF (camless) Freeride/Freerace/Freefoil sail. BANSHEE ULTRA uses our insanely light-weight woven Dyneema™ ULTRA material in the majority of the sail body above the main
window panel to reduce weight by another approximately 400g compared to the standard version of the Banshee which was already one of the lightest freeride sails on the market. The characteristic smooth power and excellent stability is maintained but with an incredible “weightless” feeling that must be experienced to understand.
At only 85g/square meter and featuring a 100% Dyneema™ (High Modulus Polyethylene, world’s strongest fiber) woven core, S2Maui’s ULTRA-HMPE™ is the absolute lightest and most tear resistant sail cloth currently available for windsurf sail construction. The ULTRA-HMPE™ material is warp oriented and load aligned with S2Maui’s WARP-PATH™ panel layout ensuring perfect tension distribution and a stable profile.
