Dear friends, given the current situation with trade and tariffs, I am sure many of you are wondering what would happen if you order from our shop in Canada. The situation is evolving and complex but let me give you the quick facts for the next few days and weeks.
Here is the latest update as of March 13th, 2026. We continue to work with our shipping partners to monitor the situation and will update this page as we get more information.
After the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled that many of the broad tariffs imposed under emergency economic powers were unlawful, the administration quickly shifted to use other legal authorities (notably Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974) to impose a temporary 15 % global tariff on most imports, with plans to extend or adjust rates through separate investigations and statutory tools. At the moment it looks like almost everything we send to the United States is subject to 15% tariffs + some fees.
