Dear friends, given the current situation with trade and tariffs, I am sure many of you are wondering what would happen if you order from our shop in Canada.
How are US tariffs calculated.
The tariffs are based on what is called country of origin, which is where the products are made. Since 99% of the products we carry are made outside Canada, the negotiations between Canada and the US on Canadian origin goods does not affect us.
Currently if you order directly from the website, you will get a shipping rate and the tariffs based on the origin of the product being purchased. Our free shipping on small goods over $200 is still in place. Please note that this does not apply to most sails, boards, booms, and large bags. If you are looking for larger goods, we strongly suggest that you get in touch with us to discuss cost of shipping, tariffs and how we can we work with you to attenuate costs.
